Interview with a Member: Margaret Ringhoff

How many times per week do you attend South Beach Fitness?
I try to get to the gym everyday but average about 5 days/week. I have lapses but fortunately they are shortlived.

What is your favorite thing about South Beach Fitness?
There are so many things I love about South Beaches. It’s a great gym. It’s friendly and inviting. The staff is great! It’s clean and well-managed. I love that equipment is being updated and always there is something new to try. There are so many choices for working out from machines, to free weights, to trax… and then options like pilates and spin…on and on.

Why is a healthy lifestyle important to you?
A healthy lifestyle is very important. You feel better, you look better. I love being active and have always been athletic. These days I love traveling and hiking especially to NZ and Wales. The gym helps keep me ready.

Weights or Cardio?
I do a combination of cardio and weights. I usually do at least 30 minutes of cardio first. ( I know, I know…just get obsessed with getting it out of the way lol). Weights are so very important to keep strength. I make sure I do them regularly, and try to vary what I do.

What is your favorite motivating quote?
I guess my favorite motivating quote might be Fit Feels Good lol. But you only have one body so if you don’t take care of it you’re not going to have a pleasant time living in it
