Interview with a Member: Madison Pope

How many times per week do you attend South Beach Fitness?
I’m typically in the gym 4-5 days a week now that I’m working as an RN- but when I can definitely 6.

What is your favorite thing about South Beach Fitness?
My favorite thing is how close knit everyone there is. It always has felt like a family and everyone welcomes you as family and takes you in. I always leave in a better mood than I was when I came in. And always know that no matter what I’m going through I have people there supporting me.

Why is a healthy lifestyle important to you?
A healthy lifestyle is important to me because my mental health depends on it so much. Fitness is my outlet and what keeps me sane! The gym is the one place where I can shut my brain off from what ever is going on, put my headphones in and focus on myself.

Weights or Cardio?
Definitely weights- everybody knows I love my leg days!!

What is your favorite motivating quote?
One of my favorite quotes is: “if you don’t sacrifice for what you want, what you want becomes the sacrifice.”
